| Posted: | | | | I'm in NYC, but do most of my buying online. Assuming you mean New York City, the best I can recommend is J & R in downtown Manhattan, which is much more than DVDs/Blu-rays; they have music and musical instruments, computers and other electronics, cameras, phones, housewares, etc. in a handful of storefronts across one city block. Thank you in advance for visiting New York! |

| Posted: | | | | It sounds like the place a friend took me...it has to be 20 years ago. I remember my friend frequented it, but barely remember the store at all. Peeking online, I'd guess it's a better choice than J & R. |

| Posted: | | | | We have some amazing pizza in NY and plenty that is, well, not amazing. Two places I would strongly recommend, if you are of a mind, for coal oven pizza that I consider amazing: Lombardi's or Grimaldi's. Be prepared to wait on line at either place. Ask for a Manhattan Special (espresso soda) if they have it, to go with the pizza. It may sound like an odd combination, but you will thank me later. |

Thanks in advance. Tip: resist the urge to buy from street vendors and small shops. They will likely be very bad pirated copies. But ... you knew that already, right? I miss Virgin Records in Union Square. It is still a cool place to go. Lots of young people, good cheap food and colorful. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. | Posted: | | | | Thanks for al the tips. I will definitely stay away from street vendors. I love pizza, so we'll probably give that a try as well. Someone also recommended me Bills Bar and Burger. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | It's been almost a year since I visited New York. I had a great time, and I had to chance to make a lot of photos. Lombardi's was an excellent tip, by the way. I finally completed a video slideshow of the trip. Those interested can watch it here. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm
