| Posted: | | | | Back in the 70's I worked in a rental shop next door to Don Melvoin's little turquoise jewelry shop. I would take break and go in a talk to him about films.
If you don't know who is Don Melvoin, he had a kids show as Deputy Don and Hosted a late night horror show as Count Zapula in Northern Michigan. Did a few TV episodes and movies.
Not the most famous person I've met, but the one I've spent the most time talking to. | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |

I was waiting in line for standby tix for a performance of "The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe," in Seattle and Lily Tomlin came out to visit with us. She took the time to have a one-on-one mini-conversation with each person in line and thanked us repeatedly for taking the time to wait, not knowing if we'd even get tickets (most of us did). A very class act, and the show was incredible. |

| Posted: | | | | I met a few as a kid and several more as an adult, but those as an adult were almost all stand-up comedians, which isn't what most people would think when you say "cool actors" no matter how popular/famous that they became.
The most notable for me as an adult was Morgan Freeman. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

Did he fall asleep while you were talking? No, he was very gentlemanly. He waited until after I was finished | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
