| Posted: | | | | I was doing an update on a complete series set I have. The OC: The Complete Series. Season 1 has their own Disc IDs... but Seasons 2-4 uses the same disc IDs as the stand alone Season Sets. So for the later seasons I been locking all the differences down.
To do this I checked "Automatically Lock All Changed Items" box.
One of the differences is that the episodes are counted 1-92... instead of by season.
Which means for Season 2 Disc 1... instead of Episodes 1-4 it is Episodes 28-31
So I changed the the numbering in the Cast and the Crew Episode Dividers. That is when I noticed that the "Automatically Lock All Changed Items" Check box didn't see the change in the episode dividers as a change to lock these fields.
Is this a bug? Or is this by design... because it is the cast and crew sections? I mean I can kind of understand it as I would hate to miss any cast and crew changes/corrections... but at the same time I would also hate to have to fix the episode numbers every time there is an update. In the end I decided to lock the fields (manually) and I am just hoping to remember to bring over any cast/crew corrections as I see them come up.
But what do you think? Should the change to the Episode Dividers trigger the "Automatically Lock All Changed Items"? I would think so... But I could be missing something where it is by design. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Sounds like a bug to me.
Didn't crosscheck yet if this happens on my machine too. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Yep, sounds like a bug. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |
