So, I edited a tag on my Android DVDP (v1.0.1, build 29), synced it with my desktop (DVDP 3.8.2, build 1542), and on the desktop, the disc disappeared (not the title, just the disc) , taking with it the location information I had for the disc.  I have tried this with 10 different discs, so I'm pretty confident that it is not specific to a disc.  Refreshing the DVD proflile and image from Invelos returns the disc to the DVD profile (but wipes out all customization I have done with the disc, including location).

Specifics:
After I sync, and the disc is gone in the DVDP desktop, the location information (location and slot) still displays.  It does not print in a report, but it shows in the column listing.

An XML export of the DVD data before the tag edit and sync has a fully articulated <Discs> section (I included the tage just before and after the discs section to show context):

<EasterEggs/>
-<Discs>
  -<Disc>
      <DescriptionSideA>Main Feature</DescriptionSideA>
      <DescriptionSideB/>
      <DiscIDSideA>9F40C87083AAA18E</DiscIDSideA>
      <DiscIDSideB/>
      <LabelSideA>WRECK_IT_RALPH</LabelSideA>
      <LabelSideB/>
      <DualLayeredSideA>true</DualLayeredSideA>
      <DualLayeredSideB>false</DualLayeredSideB>
      <DualSided>false</DualSided>
      <Location>M3</Location>
      <Slot>222</Slot>
  </Disc>
</Discs>
<SortTitle>Wreck-It Ralph</SortTitle>

After the tage edit and sync, the XML looks like:
<EasterEggs/>
<Discs/>
<SortTitle>Wreck-It Ralph</SortTitle>

Which, if I understand the XML syntax, is proper if there is no disc for that title.  However, the location for the disc still displays in the column listing of the collection.  If I refresh the profile from Invelos, the disc returns, but the location information is then gone.

I've repaired the database multiple times, and no errors show up.  Backups work fine.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Hi.
I have something similar going on. See "More bugs or known issues? Updates 5/31" about 20 lines down. Edits to the disc would move the disc, then when a sync was run later, everything was moved back.
If I move titles in, or make edits, in the main database and THEN sync, everything works fine.

I noticed the same behavior today. I have edited some tags on Android. Synched them back to desktop. And then the disc info was gone. In the online update preview window, all these profiles appear with bringing the disc info back. Of course this probably will not recover the personal data (location/slot). Personally I don't use them. Though I was thinking about switching to it (currently I track location via notes field).
