| Posted: | | | | Relatively new to DVD Profiler so this may be obvious but I recently created a second database (standard dvd's vs the one I already have of Blu-ray dvd's) and uploaded the collection. When I then opened my first or original database and went to update, I noticed the online number of movies reflected what I had just uploaded for my new or second database. I then corrected this by uploading from my device but when I then selected the new or second database again and looked at the online number, it was what I had just uploaded from the original database I had just corrected. Not sure if any of this makes sense but I seem to be chasing my tail. Any help would be appreciated. |

That's what I have done - in fact I have 10 in addition to the standard ones - All, Owned. Ordered, Wishlist (standard categories) and the additional ones: Blu Ray, Box container, TV recorded, X Adult, Gifts to Others, Spare, incorrect region code, Lost, Sold, to sell | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks folks. The multiple collection categories was just too obvious a solution. Getting old is hell! |

| Posted: | | | | Ok! I have been away from this issue for awhile but am now back at it and, of course, any bright insights I may have had when I first read the replies to my database question, are now long gone. How do you add a new category to the DVD Profiler collection. Note: I only have the IOS version (IPAD / IPHONE) of DVD Profiler. Again, thanks for the help. |

| Posted: | | | | Assuming I purchased the PC version and then created the desired categories, would I be able to sync these categories to the mobile versions?? Otherwise not sure what good the mobile versions are. Again, thanks for the input. |

All my custom categories and associated icons appear on both my phone and my tablet. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! I will give this a try. you shouldn't need to buy dvd profiler for the PC, ken has mentioned in the past that the free version does enough if you just want to connect to your portable version (as far as I can remember - it was a while ago it was mentioned) | | | Paul | | | Last edited: by pauls42 |
