So I just finished up watching 12 season of CSI, and thought about the number of DVD's I have and several that I had only seen once.

I have 4 Sony DVP995's of that close to 1.5 (640ish) of those are nothing but live action Movies.

So starting tonight I am going to work though V1-V4 over the movies in order that they are in the machines.

So The first ten will be :

13th Warrior
300
Demolition Man
Over The Top
The Specialist
Tango & Cash
9 1/2 Weeks
The A-Team
A.I. Artificial Intelligence
About Schmidt

So I'll post up as I work through it for giggles.

Do you have... or want the html window that I use for my reviews? It pulls most the info about the disc from profiler for you... then you just add your thoughts and a rating.

I would love to take a look at it, I wasn't really planing on Reviews for them all

Something I was looking into was a way to mark each time I watched a movie.

Didnt really like the built in system, but it would be nice to have a tool that would allow dates to be added someplace besides notes when you add a viewing.

Anywho 3 movies in, Small break as my BR of New Legend of Korra Book 1 Air showed up today

So some comments from what I have watched so far :

13th Warrior - Meh not a bad turn your brain off and watch movie
300 - I still LOVE this
Demolition Man - and Oldie but a goodie
Over The Top - Kid/Dad buddy flick (yawn) throw in some arm wrestling
The Specialist - Lots of bad in the movie, but a very early Sharron Stone so bonus :D
Tango & Cash - cop/cop buddy flick (yawn) why on earth would the bad guy have an arena with buggies and monster trucks ?? Or even have his placed wired to explode ?
9 1/2 Weeks - humm the height of chick flick movies, but bonus for a very gorgeous Kim Basinger
The A-Team - This one just worked for me, I hope they do some more
A.I. Artificial Intelligence - Excellent commentary on how we live and use things, exceptionally well done
About Schmidt - I made it 30 min into the one and flipped to the next movie, major yawner
The Abyss - Still holds up. I kinda get a bit tired of the Military in the early movies always being a big baddies but meh
The Adventures of Robin Hood - Been a LONG time since I last saw this, LOVE it
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark - Can never turn it down, recently watched this ( maybe 3 weeks ago ) and watched it again
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - Skipped as this is my least favorite Indy movie. I hoped when SS released these on BR that he would edit Kate Capshaw out or at least mute her :/
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - Another one I love and watched again.
The Adventures of Milo and Otis - made it about 30 and flipped to the next film
Æon Flux - I liked this, even before seeing the MTV animated series. Something I really liked about the story line/history
Alice in Wonderland - enjoyed it, I am getting a bit tired of Johnny Depp though..... He needs to go back to doing some serious work.
Dave - Nice flick, Good guy goes to Washington and wins kinda :D
The American President - Been ages on this one, didn't realize how much this was basically a pilot for West Wing
AVP: Alien vs. Predator - Not a bad monster flick, as a comic book geek they did the graphic novel no justice
Along Came a Spider - Good suspense movie, the twist and turns are not quite as surprising as I think they hoped. Been a long time since I last watched this and I didnt remember it, and still called it pretty early. Funny tid bit the russian kid is Chekov

That is as far as I have gotten.

Next batch :

American Graffiti
Analyze That
Animal House
The Art of War
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
Avatar
The Aviator
The Bachelor
First Blood
U-571
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
The Color of Money
Batman
Batman Returns
Batman & Robin
Batman Forever
Beauty Shop
Beetlejuice
Beowulf

Creeping along.....

American Graffiti
Analyze That - Meh
Animal House - A great movie, have watched this many times over the years.
The Art of War - A typical DW action flick, interesting story plot and idea
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery - I am not typically a huge fan of Mike Myers but after now seeing all the old Bond movies this is eave funnier than before.
Avatar - I skipped this as I had watched it last month, I think it is very well done on the technical side, but the sorry had way way way too many holes in it
The Aviator - A fun story/history about Howard Hughes, Well done from what I can gather from other reading.
The Bachelor - Another 30 min snoozer
First Blood - Liked it when it came out, still like it now
U-571 - a great flick if not close to the real story/ships but very watchable
Mr. & Mrs. Smith - Great action, the high light being the house fight.
The Color of Money - Solid back up to the Hustler
Batman - This was a great Batman movie, JN did an outstanding job with the Joker
Batman Returns - a meh Batman Movie, Not the worst that would be Batman & Robin

been an interesting few weeks so far

Batman & Robin - By far the worst written Batman movie ever.... I dont blame so much the actors but the directors. Suffers from the same problem a lot of super hero movies is story point bloat.
Batman Forever - I loves the way Jim Carry and Tommy Lee played theirs rolls, It was great, I thought and they again didnt direct the movie very well and the story was a bit weak.
Beauty Shop - Again another one of my mothers DVD's that made its way to my collection. Just couldnt manage to finish it.
Beetlejuice - I love they way they did this movie, alwasy one to be enjoyed
Beowulf - A bit before its time, I liked what they attempted to so with the Mo Cap and CGI so there are some rough edges but it is a solid movie. I like the telling of the story, though it has been years since I read the story.
The Big Easy - Quaid and Barkin in a fun police thriller
Big Fish - Was not sure how this world work out, cant say that I recall watching this one before, kinda shocker to see Obi-Wan Turned into a decent flick.

So with the up coming list of movies :

The Black Dahlia
Black Hawk Down
Black Mask
Blade
Blade II
Blade: House of Chthon
Blade: Trinity
Blade Runner
The Book of Eli
The Boondock Saints
The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day
The Breakfast Club
Looper
Fist of Fury
Game of Death
Game of Death II
The Big Boss
Way of the Dragon
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Caddyshack
Calendar Girls
The Cannonball Run
Casualties of War
Cheaper by the Dozen 2
