I know a lot you have seen some pretty bad weather this winter, but we in Arizona would like to see some of that snow in northern Arizona, because the runoff is what fills our reservoirs and irrigates crops and reduces the danger of Forrest fires. Not to mention the ski industry.

Today it is 85 degrees for a high no rain 56 days. The reservoirs are about 56% full.
Today we are setting record highs all over the state. The average February high in 72, the record high for February 92 degrees in 1986.

I'm looking to build on my property in Show Low in the next few years. Time to get out of Illinois, but I like the snow and water that's why I picked south of Snowflake.

Want to swap for a while?  Southern England's a mess of floods and wind damage; it just keeps raining and raining and raining.  I think it's been the wettest winter ever and we've records going back to the Big Bang.  The South West is even worse, as it's had a lot of coastal flooding too.  I live on the main railway line into London.  It normally takes 30 minutes by train, but at the moment it's taking 90 minutes, because of some signal box being wreaked by flood water.  Had to buy a new PCU for my computer this morning, as it got fried last night by a power spike.  We never get those either.  Stupid weather!

On the bright side, it's given everyone something to bitch about that we can all agree on! We love to talk about the weather and we've actually had some worth talking about for a change too.
Do you ever find yourself striving for perfection with an almost worthless attempt at it?  Guttermouth "Lemon Water".  Also, I include in my Profiler database VHS tapes, audio DVDs, audio books (digital, cassette and CD), video games (digital, DVD and CD) and 'enhanced' CDs with video tracks on them, as well as films and TV I've bought digitally.  So I'm an anarchist, deal with it.  Just be thankful I don't include most of my records and CDs etc in it too; don't think I haven't been tempted...
