In the past week I installed new Mother board. / power supply - / New sata Hard drives / new 4GB Ram.. & have spent 3 days installing all my VIP  files and programs ..  Now for my Invelos Profiler data is the last to go.. I did keep my backups on three Hard drives two of the m got locked and deleted .. the third is not  quite ready to go.. and the fourth most import that is up and running is my Main C: drive with all my emails and documents ( all saved and installed are there ..  Now What I want to do is to set up fresh Profiler and then import my library from within My documents ..  having trouble trying to locate .dpb files .. any help??

not that easy .. when I browse .. to that area.... the box  is blank.. Need to find the .dpb file folder

The easiest way would be to simply copy the database folder from your old HDD to the new location.

If you try to open a database that was not created with the specific user-account you may run into some severe access-right problems.

fixed!     I did it a third way ...  what I did was I had  the new  program installed on my new  Hard drive .. & that 'program' installed ( as you all know ) under C: Program files / dvd profiler ..  now under  C: documents and settings/my name/my documents/ 'dvd profiler' ..( xp windows)  I opened up 'that'  file and highlighted and deleted ALL ,  then went into my back up HD  which in this case was under I: documents settings/'my name'/ dvd profiler  and opened that file and dragged the entire works over top the Cdrive and dropped it into the now empty folder and after 8 minutes of transferring  .. voila  '' opened up my desktop icon and there was my old files of special covers I have created over  the years for certain branched titles and its children ..

so bottom line  drag and drop  instead of pointing and directing ... Lewis had it correct ..
