| Posted: | | | | I see to remember in earlier releases trailers could be stored locally on the hard drive and could be used from that location. When I look now it seems to only be web based. Can trailers still be viewed locally? |

| Posted: | | | | I used to do this... had some stored on an external I used to have... don't have the external anymore... but still have the path for some of them....
Try to use...
file://{PATH TOTRAILER}
for example... one of mine was...
file://E:\Trailers & Promos\TV Promos\Supernatural\Season 1\Supernatural S1D1.avi
See if that don't work for you. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I use this all the time.
With DVDP open: 1. highlight the profile you want to add a trailer to 2. click Online/My Links/Edit... 3. open windows explorer 4. find the trailer you want to attach to the profile 5. drag it to the left pane of the Online/My Links/Edit... window 6. The URL:, Description:, and Category: will each propagate itself 7. click the Use link for: drop down and select Trailers Link 8. click OK and also click OK in the lower right corner of the edit window; done.
Now all you have to do is click the View Trailers link or go to Online and click View Trailers. The default app you have selected for the particular filetype will launch and play.
At present I have over 865 GB of HD trailers I have been collecting since about 2002. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. | | | Last edited: by mreeder50 |

| Posted: | | | | I don't have one locally for all of them, actually only 1/2 give or take. However, the last several years I have one for most of them.
I look at apple movie trailers on a regular basis and see what's new since the last time I checked, then go to http://www.hd-trailers.net/ and find the apple trailer (1080p - .mov file) and download it renaming it the way I want). | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | No you do not need QT. They will play with most players, like Media player, VLC, PowerDVD, etc. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | I'll have to give this a try. I don't care for cast photos, but trailers would be a nice addition. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | When My Links was released by Invelos, I added a couple of menus to LoadDVD for bulk CSV export / import of My Links. You could use that to get a jump start if you have a whole bunch to catch up with. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!!
