| Posted: | | | | I have both experienced Corntact....i mean Interstellar, in both vanilla 2D and IMAX. Certainly i recommend IMAX as the opium way to experience in cinema, mostly because of the sound quality. The film could have maybe done with some additional character development and work on the exposition. One of my main gripes is the scenes where Cooper arrives at Nasa. They don't put enough weight into establishing the second half of the narrative very well. The film really kicks off after they pass through the wormhole. The ending sit's well enough for me. Perhaps a unexpected given how much emphasis the film gives to science.
I found it mostly solid and engrossing though. Spectacle and emotion on an epic scale, with a beautiful score. If the script had been working on a little more then this could have possibly turned out to be a masterpiece.
What did you guy's think? |
