Hi,
Is 3.8 available for download anywhere?
I have a problem with BulkEdit that I don't know was there with 3.8.

You would have to have a saved copy of the last release.  Did you try the latest version of BulkEdit?

If that doesn't work I could send you a copy of the old version but it's about ~12MB in size.

Hi rdo,
I may have 3.8 but I moved many files around so am not sure that it is 3.8.  The file shows as 11.4 MB.
I've tried the last 3 versions of BulkEdit.
I seem to have a problem with BulkEdit that is semi-unique.  I discovered that BulkEdit was not working on my desktop computer.  I have a Netbbook on which I installed Profiler about a year ago and hadn't accessed since.  One of the older versions of BulkEdit worked fine on it but the database was out of date and I couldn't import the new database which was from 3.9.  So I installed 3.9 on the netbook, imported the new database and BulkEdit.  BulkEdit no longer worked.  I did a System Restore to get back to 3.8 and strangely enough I got some warning about problems with the database but everything seems to work fine with Profiler.  I'm using Win 7 on both computers.
BulkEdit is a fantastic enhancement to DVD Profiler but isn't used often so others may have a problem but just haven't become aware of it.  I know BulkEdit works with other OSs but the extent of the problem is something I don't know.

I see that mediadogg is all over your posts in the plugin forum.  Make sure you have the latest version of BulkEdit installed (i.e. v2.73) for version 3.9.0.

I also have a copy of DVD Profiler v. 3.8.2 Build 1542 if you need a copy (11.4 MB or 12,005,376 bytes).

Hi rdo,
It seems likely that I do have 3.8. The file I have is DVDProInstall.zip and it seems that it's the size you specified.  By any chance do you have Win 7 with BulkEdit installed?  And if so, any problems?
I've only used BulkEdit to change the Location data but it seems like it has many additional capabilities.  If I didn't have this problem, it's likely that I would never have become aware of them.  Talk about looking on the bright side, eh?

Oh gasp.

Ken is going to kill me ... this is not supposed to be how it works. He has invested a lot of resources to help developers get going on 3.9.

We (umm, I) MUST find a solution to this. I'll get back on the case when I get back from a family visit in a couple of days.  One thing I am still not clear about is whether / how many other people are having / not having the problem. Not much feedback on that so far.
Thanks for your support.

I only have used bulk edit once  and never  kept it in my data .. I needed  it many months ago.. it worked .. and then when I restored my Invelos data back to PC  never put bulk edit back in..  as I only need Data inquiry on a daily basis ..

Everything's working perfect here...

Is the correct .NET framework installed?
-> Since BulkEdit 2.55 you need to install .NET 4.0, while Windows 7 has been shipped with 3.5.

Maybe there's a compatibility issue with another plugin?

I have 4.5.2.  I've been hoping to hear from someone running Win 7 before I revert to 3.8.  I've tried removing all plugins while trying to identify the problem.
As I haven't noticed any difference since the update I wouldn't mind keeping 3.8, but I don't know if BulkEdit with 3.8 will work on my desktop.  I hadn't tried it in quite awhile.
