| Posted: | | | | If you have the opportunity to go see a movie in a theatre sporting Dolby Atmos - be prepared to sell the kids! It is unbelievably AWESOME!!! Very few movies currently available in it apparently - but it's coming... Had a demo in a cinema here in the UK which had 77 speakers. The sound isn't surrounding you - its inside you. Phaw! | | | Gonna jump...gonna jump... |

| Posted: | | | | One can only hope that it was better than the appalling demo at the Bristol Sound & Vision show a couple of months ago. Shrill, muddied dialogue, it was actually painful to listen to it. Makes one wonder why they bothered! | | | Chris | | | Last edited: by Mole |

| Posted: | | | | Interesting, I have now seen the new Mad Max and Jurassic World (both in 3D) at Olympic Studios in Barnes. Truly amazing sound experience in both cases. Came out of Mad Max feeling that we'd done 5 rounds with Ali! If you're anywhere near Barnes in West London - its a really great cinema (bar, reclining seats etc). www.olympiccinema.co.uk/ - check it out. If you do, make sure you book screen 1! | | | Gonna jump...gonna jump... |
