Can't update online collection from Android app issue and possible solution (Worked for me anyway).. |

| Posted: | | | | For the past few days or more, when trying to update my online collection from the Android app was stuck at about 5%. If you are having the same issue, just: Uninstall the app from your phone Reinstall the app Download your current online database Scan the bar codes for the recently purchased titles (In my case it was only 4 thankfully) Then update the online collection as usual. | Posted: | | | | Why don't they just fix the app so the end user doesn't have to hop through hoops? I have all three versions and never have any issues with the Windows or IOS versions. Yet, I'm always having a hard time updating my Android version from my online database. I absolutely love the application but I regret my purchase on the Android format. | Posted: | | | | Sadly not working for me (ZTE Axon 7) Had been working fine after I transferred to this phone but a few months back decided mid-sync (download, difference being 2 titles) that the entire collection was a fraction of the size of DVD Profiler PC/online. Since then download gets stuck at 0-5% of "downloading profiles" every time (575 of c5k) - and it's on top of all other apps and the screen is on throughout. Uninstall/reinstall - same. Clear app cache and try again - same. Clear app cache, uninstall, clear all Android cache, reboot phone, reinstall - same Would be nice to be able to use the phone app rather than a bookmark to the online collection! |

| Posted: | | | | I've tried updating DVD Profiler on my phone from my online collection a time or two and it never seemed to work correctly, so I always update it directly from my Windows PC, which always works.
I don't feel that the Android version is really usable without DVD Profiler for Windows as a complement.
