| Posted: | | | | Got a new PC. thought i had everything backed up. Can't find database or backup. can someone verify the file types that should be looking for? if I can't locate, is hand scanner the best way to build a new database? about 300 dvds and blurays. |

| Posted: | | | | If it's a backup you did of your database, the file should end with the extension .dpb
It looks like your online database is empty, so you might have to re-enter your database if you can't locate a backup file. A barcode scanner would probably be the fastest method, but 300 titles probably wouldn't take all that long to add even if done manually. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | You should consider uploading your collection online, too, so you'll have another backup option if necessary. You can set it to "private" if you don't want others to see it. |
