So I went to Goodwill yesterday and found a rather cool Indian Head Penny bank from Goodwill. Paid just 99 cents for it. It's made out of some sort of metal (could be brass or copper) and it unscrews so you can get the coins out. On the inside it has a date of 1975. At first I couldn't find anything searching for "Pile of cents" bank on google. But then I searched for what was shown on the inside "1975 CCC Pat. Pending" and found it. A recent ebay auction sold it for $15 plus shipping. Never know what you'll find at a Goodwill store.  |
