Hi,

unfortunatly I've already wasted three hours for a task, that should take five minutes.

I have a big DVD collection (1000+) and use Excel to manage it. So I created a txt-file with my DVDs.
DVDProfiler imported it, then I had to spend one hour doing some changes and additions, then it imported the profiles, again I had to click YES all the time, when there were more than one DVD (series for examples) and than finally I could click "add now" and then DVDProfiler was not able to import them with this Error message:

A file access error occured.

DVD Profiler is unable to aquire access to the file. Please check file and directory attributes and permissions.

Cannot create file C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Besitzer\Desktop\DVDProfiler\Database\...

I can add single DVDs, but I cannot add DVDs imported with a txt-file. So what do I have to do to get DVD Profiler working properly?

Edit: I forgot, since I'm using Linux I installes DVD Profiler on a virtual machine running Win XP.

Edit: I tried several virtual machines, even a Win7, but it seems, DVD Profiler can't save this file if it is installed on a VM, so it doesn't work.
